General Tips on Writing Essays






In our class, we studied how to write different essays. Remember that when writing specific essays, it must be clear to the reader what essay you are writing.

Transition words are very important. These help identify what kind of essay you are writing. Here is a link to 100 transition words:

Vocabulary is also a valuable part of improving your writing. Always try to use your own words, rather words copied from tests, however, try and add to your vocabulary, but using words that ou understand, but don't often use. Here are some examples:
